You know that I'm a british fan, I 'll pick British editions this month. The most impressive one is Bazaar UK with Claudia. I'll buy that instead of my subscription for Turkish edition.

STYLING SCHOOL

Kızları özlemişim:) Bu hastalığın en iyi tarafı onlarla uzun süreden sonra beraber olabilmekti sanırım:)

Kızlar: Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte ve Miranda. Evde yatarken sex & the city serim raftan çıktı, her sezonda en sevdiğim bölümler izlendi, bazı bölümlerin öncesi sonrası derken...

Her zaman savunduğum: dizinin ve sonra da filmin önemli bir pazarlama silahı olması yanı sıra bunu boş değil, dolu dolu yaptığıdır ki bu konuya çok girmeyeceğim. STILIZE'nin konusu değil.

STILIZE'nin konusuna gelirsek, 98'de başlayıp 2004'te sona eren dizi hala bir moda kitabı gibi. Farklı kobinasyonlar için o kadar ipucu var ki, hem de 4 farklı kişilikte ve tarzda kadın için. Düşününce her bölümde her karakter için 4-5 kombinasyondan, gerçekten iyi bir uzaktan erişimli moda ve styling okulu diyebiliriz. Patricia Fields öğrencileri oluyorsunuz ki, nasıl yaratıcı nasıl kuvvetli bir göze sahip, nasıl karakter- hikaye-mekan ve tarz eşleşmesinde gurudur söylememe gerek yok.

Patricia'nın styling yaptığı diğer yapımları da DVD kolleksiyonunuza eklemenizi ve zaman zaman izlemenizi şiddetle öneririm: Sex & The City Movie, Devil Wears Prada, Confessions of a Shopaholic.

I missed girls so much, we were together after a long time because of this illness.

Girls: Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda. While resting at home, I found my Sex & The City DVD collection in the shelves :) I started of with the very best of every season followed by the before & after episodes. I won't mention the marketing success of series and film, this is not the subject of Stilize.

The real subject of Stilize is the series that continued from 98 to 2004 which is still like a guide book for fashion. There are a lot of hints for different and successful combinations for 4 really different type of women, who have different personalities, and styles. This series is just like a fashion and styling school with 4-5 combinations for each character in every episode. You simply become a student of Patricia Field who is a guru in matching the character- story- location and style with a keen and creative eye for fashion.

I suggest you to get and add to your collection Patricia's other movies: Sex & The City Movie, Devil Wears Prada, Confessions of a Shopaholic.

BEING A SNOW QUEEN

Ben yaza veda edemezken, herkes kayak planlarına başladı.

Çok çok da haz etmediğim, özellikle kaz tüyü montları ile ünlü dış giyim italyan markası MONCLER, kar- kayak meseleleri gündemde olunca dikkatimi çekti. Bu kış sezonu için hazırladığı Gamme Rouge kolleksiyonu gerçekten etkileyici, marka ile ilgili negatif düşüncelerimi değiştirdi, benim gibi yaz insanına bile kar yağsın dedirtiyor. Özellikle saten dokular, kulanılan pastel renkler ve kristal broşlar, kürk detayları çok beğendim.. Beyazlarla kaplı bir yerde bu şekerlere sarılarak bir davete gitmek istedim, bir gecelik sindrella olmak gibi bir şey...

Everybody started making ski plans already, when I still can't give up on the summer days. MONCLER is an Italian label especially known their goose feather coats which I wasn't very fond of. While "Ski and Snow" title was on the agenda, MONCLER winter Ads got my attention. It's Gamme Rouge Colection is impressive, also makes a summer woman like me to want the snow and winter. I loved especially the satin fabric, pastel colors, crytal accessories and fur details. I would like to go to a big elegant party with these candys in a land covered in snow, like a cindrella for a night.

GUESS! WHERE ARE THESE SHOULDER PADS FROM?

Ne yazık ki zorunlu bir "ES"imiz oldu, ani bir rahatsızlık oldu ve hala yataktayım:( En azından Whity 'i kucağıma almaya ve size yazmaya bu saat itibariyle halim var.

Sadede gelirsek, gördüğünüz güzel bayan daha önce de STILIZE'ye misafir olmuştu (hatırlamak için tıklayın.)

Pırıl'ın bu resimleri Laundromat açılışından, üstündeki tunik kendi tasarımı, uygulamayı Anılcan isimli bir terziye yaptırmış. Anladığım kadarıyla Anılcan klasik bir terzi, ancak Pırıl'ın tarifleri, deneme yanılmalarla bu kadar değişik bir tasarımı hayata geçirebilmiş.

Özellikle vatkalar ve uygulaması hepsi Pırıl'ın buluşu:)

Başlığımıza gelirsek bu tunik Adana'da tasarlandı hayata geçti.

Unfortunately I had to give an "ES" beacuse of sudden health problems. I'm still in bed but at least I can use the whity and write to you now.

Let's come to the point! This beautiful lady was seen in STILIZE with her magical closet (click for remembering).

These picts of Pırıl are from the Laundromat opening. Tunic is her own design, she had it implemented in a tailor shop called Anılcan. Anılcan is a local and classical tailor shop but they effectuated the design successfuly with Pırıl's directions and by method of trial and error.

This fabulous tunic has been designed and sewed in Adana.

So.. If you can't find your dream pieces in the shops or if they are too expensive or if you want to be different, here is the inspiration...

Bu akşam İstanbul'da yeni bir moda durağının açılışındaydım. Laundromat 2 moda gönüllüsü mimarın yarattığı, farklı tasarımcılara ev sahipliği yapan büyük bir butik, ya da kurucularının deyimiyle shop in shop konseptinin İstanbul'daki ilk örneği.

Kurucular Yasemin Özeri ve Öykü Thurston'un tasarımlarının sergilendiği Loundromat'ın odalarında Nahide Büyükkaymakçı, Güneş Dericioğlu, Elif Ergin, Devran Mursaloğlu ve Kudret Saka'nın tasarımlarını bulabilirsiniz.

Beni en etkileyen oda, tabii ki yakın arkadaşım Güneş Dericioğlu'nun İstanbul'u baş tacı yapan şık, fonksiyonel ve modern çantalarını ağarlayan odaydı. 2. sırada Güneş'in oda komşusu Elif Ergin tasarımı saten kırmızı ve turkuaz rengi, drape elbiseleri ağarlayan odaya bayıldım.

İstanbul moda meraklıları kadar, Galata'nın en büyük müdavimleri dünyanın dört bir köşesinden gelen turistler de Laundromat'a büyük ilgi gösterdi.

Bu yenilikçi, yetenekli tasarımcıların çalışmalarını görün, Galata'nın mistizmini hissedin derim.

I've attended the opening of a new fashion home, Laundromat. Laundromat is a designer boutique which hosts different fashion designers or by the owner's definition it is the first "shop in shop" boutique in Turkey. It's created by two architects from the fashion industry: Yasemin Özeri ve Öykü Thurston. You can see the collections by Nahide Büyükkaymakçı, Güneş Dericioğlu, Elif Ergin, Devran Mursaloğlu and Kudret Saka in addition to Yasemin and Öykü's collections in Laundromat's rooms.

The most attractive room is Gunes Dericioglu's who is one of my closest friends. Gunes's bag collection is modern, functional, chic and inspired by Istanbul.

My second favorite is Elif Ergin's room. Her turquoise and red draped dresses are pretty.

In addition to the fashion lovers, tourists from all over the world visiting Galata have shown great interest in Laundromat as well.

Come and see these the modernist and talented designer's collections and feel the mystic spirit of Galata.

Londra postlarımın arasında en çok ilgi ceken, arada derede yakaladığım çiçek baskılı siyah çoraptı. Bir çok kişiden bu çorap nereden bulunur soruları alınca, yurtdışı çorap firmalarında ararken, çok benzer çalışmaları Penti'de buldum.

Hadise'li yeni reklamında swarowski baskılısını görünce devamını da internet sitesinde keşfettim. Yerinde inceledim, güzel desenliler çok ince denyede basılmış, önerim kalın denye bir çorabın üstüne 2. kat olarak bu çorapları giymeniz. Bazı desenler çok büyük ve iki bacakta kullanılmış o modellerin de tek bacağını keserek yine tek bacağı kesilmiş aynı renk çorapla giymeyi öneriyorum.

Bense Miu Miu'nun soketlerini n şahaneleiğini ve fiyat etiketini gördükten sonra DIY projesi olarak bu konuyu ele almaya karar verdim.

The most interesting subject after the London posts, turned out to be the the golden flower printed black leggings. I' ve got a lot of questions about where we could find them so while searching the foreign internet sites, I came across similar ones on Penti's new collections.

After watching Hadise on Penti's new ad film, I looked all models in their stores. I found out these patterned leggings' fabric is thin, my suggestion is wearing these leggings wtih thicker fabric ones. Some of their patterns are so huge and used on both two legs. Also these models can be used 1 leg (by cutting other leg) with another one: same colour but without pattern.

My favorite is Mıu Miu's bejewelled socks, they are glamorous but also so expensive.I will tackle this subject as a DIY ptoject.
